MIBSAC is progressing with 12.84 km of road maintenance in Caylloma, as part of the Cooperation Agreement with mining companies and local authorities.
Caylloma, June 15, 2025. In compliance with the Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement, Minera Bateas (MIBSAC) began road maintenance work in Caylloma, together with other mining companies such as Tambomayo, Auriverde, León Dorado, Max Pala, and Pulpera.
On June 5, the symbolic start of the project was achieved, with the participation of local authorities and the contractor, Juan Supo Hnos., selected through a competitive bidding process. In the case of MIBSAC, the project will cover 12.84 km, divided into two strategic sections: San Ignacio–entrance to the district (2.53 km) and Muyurina–Pusa Pusa (10.31 km).
The agreement includes the improvement of a total of 36.68 km, distributed among the six signatory companies. Minera Bateas and Tambomayo will undertake 70% of the total. The Municipality plays a technical support role, while FUDICAY acts as citizen oversight.
